The Bolts & Nuts Set B is part of the Practical Life exercises to guide children in develop their life-skills.

The material has 5 different size bolts but similar size knobs. These are beautifully designed to fit a toddlers hand comfortably in red.
The use of tools is an important skill set to master from an early age, and this set of the Nuts and Bolts material helps develop the ability to recognize and manipulate threaded bolts of different sizes. Asking children to screw the nuts is also a classic Montessori Practical Life activity to refine fine motor skills. The set consists of a wooden block with five different-sized threaded nuts affixed inside, along with five matching bolts each with a large round knob for easy grasping.
