Montessori Imbucare Box with Square Prism

This series of Imbucare Boxes consists of wooden boxes with a wooden shape to fit into the corresponding hole in the top.

Imbucare Box with Square Prism is a beautifully handcrafted wooden toy includes a wooden cube and a wooden box with a drawer. Toddler Imbucare Box with cube is a classic Montessori material that is introduced to infants once they can sit up independently, at approximately 6-12 months of age. This material aids in the child’s development of object permanence, while also honing their hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, focus, and concentration.

The box is made of birch plywood, it has many virtues of beautiful grain, even texture and hard.  The shapes are beautifully painted following the universal color code of Montessori method. We all use eco friendly materials, paints for safe play of the child. Since the product is made of wood, it is strictly forbidden to soak in water. You can wipe it with a soft cloth.

There is a door with a circular hole on the front so the child can easily open the door and repeat the action. Children naturally love putting things in and out of boxes and these activities will help them to develop their concentration as well as their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

To use the Imbucare box, an infant places a large wooden square prism(cube) into a hole located on the top of the box. The cube momentarily disappears into the box, but then reappears as it rolls out where it is then easily retrieved by the infant. Although the cube fit in the hole in every position, your child needs to open the drawer to retrieve the cube, it doesn’t just roll out. A baby who is still actively developing an understanding of object permanence will often engage in long periods of repetition with this task, until mastery is achieved Babies like to play peek-a-boo for a reason! Watching their favorite face or toy disappear from sight and only reappear after a while is very attractive because it naturally attracts their evolving understanding of the persistence of objects Our educational toy Imbucare Box with Square Prism is a funny and highly motivating gift to toddlers, preschoolers or to those kids with delays in their development.
